Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Redmond's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Redmond won the last time they faced Mercer Island and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Redmond Mustangs snuck past the Mercer Island Islanders with a 62-58 win. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Islanders are ranked 89th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Redmond is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season. As for Mercer Island, they moved to 11-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Redmond nor Mercer Island have any future games scheduled.
