Soccer Game Preview: CORE Butte vs. Quincy

The CORE Butte Lynx will take on the Quincy Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Quincy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on CORE Butte, who comes in off a win.

CORE Butte is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Portola an 8-0 shutout last Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for CORE Butte as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Quincy was a bit more limited in their matchup last Thursday. They fell just short of Paradise Adventist Academy by a score of 2-1.

CORE Butte's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
