Auburn is a perfect 10-0 against Central since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Auburn Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Central Red Devils at 8:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Auburn challenged Prattville on Tuesday. Auburn fell just short of Prattville by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Central won against Opelika on Thursday with four goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. Everything went Central's way against Northside as Central made off with a 4-1 victory. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Northside with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tyelon Davidson (2), Nathaniel Riepe, and Jan Bach.

The win made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 9-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Auburn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5-1.

Auburn beat Central 2-0 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Auburn since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
