No. 15 Rocklin knocks off third-ranked Oak Ridge and No. 21 Whitney beats No. 5 Del Oro

In the Sierra Foothill League, No.
15 Rocklin upset No. 3 Oak Ridge on Friday night, 28-22. Oak Ridge had the lead at half but the Thunder scored 15 points in the third quarter and held on for the win. Rocklin is now 2-0 in league play.
Another upset in the SFL as No. 5 Del Oro and No. 21 Whitney went to overtime. The Whitney Wildcats trailed by 3 after Del Oro kicked a field goal to start the extra period. But Dom Spence of Whitney would score on a 12 yard run to give them the win as they improved to 1-1 overall in league,
