Basketball Recap: Pathways Find Success

Hope Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Pathways proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Hope Academy Trojan Tigers by a score of 60-50. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 73-44 back in January.

The win made it two in a row for Pathways and bumps their season record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Hope Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Pathways is facing Poinciana Christian Preparatory at the right time seeing as Poinciana Christian Preparatory is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Hope Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
