The Neligh-Oakdale Warriors waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They put the hurt on Wausa with a sharp 40-17 win. That looming 40-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Neligh-Oakdale yet this season.

Neligh-Oakdale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hailey Horstmann led the charge by scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was jayce gadeken, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and seven steals.

Neligh-Oakdale's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Wausa, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16.
