Basketball Recap: Rosewood Eagles vs. Wayne Christian Eagles
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Rosewood ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They snuck past Wayne Christian with a 71-65 win. The victory almost wasn't to be: Rosewood was down 43-25 in the third quarter.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rosewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Darius Davis, who went 7-for-14 en route to 25 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxson Waters, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 20 points.
Rosewood was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.
