Carbon is 8-2 against Juab since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Dinos will challenge the Wasps at 3:30 p.m. Juab took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Carbon, who comes in off a win.
Carbon took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Providence Hall 10-4. The victory continues a trend for the Dinos in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won eight in a row.

Danica Adams made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off ten hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aleece Ardohain, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Shayla Penovich, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Juab's offense. They lost 8-0 to North Sanpete on Tuesday. The Wasps have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.
Juab's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Carbon, their record now sits at 7-14.
Juab's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Carbon has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Juab, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Carbon keep running through batters, or will the Wasps buck the trend?
Carbon beat Juab 5-0 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dinos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
