The Lowry Buckaroos typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Bishop Manogue Miners proved too difficult a challenge. Bishop Manogue enjoyed a cozy 57-38 win over Lowry. That's another feather in the cap for Bishop Manogue, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bishop Manogue's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fa'anaetaua Puloka, who scored 16 points along with 3 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaileen Yarrow, who scored 10 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists.
Bishop Manogue now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lowry, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-1.
Bishop Manogue will head out on the road to face off against South Tahoe at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lowry, they will take on Lassen at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
