Volleyball Recap: Freedom Gets the Win

Freedom won the last time they faced Little Chute and things went their way on Thursday too. The Irish walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Irish.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 20-25, 25-21.

Halle Srb had a dynamite game, getting 17 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keira Griesbach, who had six digs and three aces.

Freedom was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive matches.

Freedom's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Little Chute, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Freedom has already played their next game (against Wrightstown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Little Chute, they will take on Luxemburg-Casco at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
