Softball Recap: Waxahachie Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Waxahachie, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Centennial Spartans by a score of 6-3 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Waxahachie now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Centennial, they moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Waxahachie and Centennial will both be playing South Grand Prairie the next time they take the field. Waxahachie will host South Grand Prairie at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Centennial will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
