Basketball Game Recap: Paramus Catholic vs. Wayne Valley

The Wayne Valley Indians were just a three-ball short of a victory on Tuesday and fell 65-63 to the Paramus Catholic Paladins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wayne of the 49-36 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head earlier this month.

The loss dropped the Indians back to even at 9-9. The win bumped Paramus' record up to 15-4.

Wayne will be playing at home against Fair Lawn on Thursday. Paramus will be hunkering down at home again for their game against River Dell next week. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
