Temple hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Tigers who were credited with the victory. The Temple Tigers got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Central Lions' five. For Temple, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 win Central walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Temple's one-goal win came courtesy of Jalen Wirth, who's now up to 29 this season.
