Basketball Recap: Don Soffer Aventura's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Don Soffer Aventura came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 57-41 win over the Hebrew Academy Warriors.

Leading Don Soffer Aventura to victory were Dimitri Tatulishvili and Ocean Nahum. Tatulishvili almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards, while Nahum posted 11 points. Tatulishvili has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. George Gould was another key player, putting up seven points.

Don Soffer Aventura's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Hebrew Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
