Soccer Game Preview: Corcoran vs. Lindsay

Corcoran hasn't had much luck against Lindsay recently, but that could start to change on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Corcoran take on the Lindsay at 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Corcoran didn't have quite enough to beat Granite Hills and fell 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lindsay had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 4-0 shutout. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by three goals or more this season.

Lindsay's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those ten contests. As for Corcoran, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-2.

Corcoran might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Lindsay when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Corcoran avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
