Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Carey Panthers + How To Watch

The Valley Vikings will challenge the Carey Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Thursday, Valley got the win against Glenns Ferry by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Valley was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Carey made easy work of Camas County on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Carey's got stronger as the match went on, holding Camas County to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-4.

Carey's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Carey in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
