Lehi had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Payson Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lehi walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 22-25, 25-14.

Paige Wakumoto had a dynamite game, getting 30 digs and four assists.

Lehi was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matches dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Payson lost, don't look at Brynley Nielson. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs and three aces. Nielson has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Lehi's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Payson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Lehi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Copper Hills on the 21st. As for Payson, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Delta on the 22nd.
