After a string of four wins, Greenwood Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Heritage Christian Eagles. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

Greenwood Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-22.

Izzy Snell paced Greenwood Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Snell got some help from Bellany Garmon and her 16 assists.

Greenwood Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Heritage Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

Greenwood Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against South Decatur on the 20th. As for Heritage Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Western Boone on the 20th.
