Volleyball Recap: Lake Ridge Comes Up Short

Lake Ridge lost against Eastwood on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Troopers by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Lake Ridge sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 26-24.

Lake Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Eastwood, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lake Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Forney on the 19th. As for Eastwood, they will take on Brock in a tournament on Thursday.
