Camden Fairview came into Saturday's   contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Des Arc Eagles on Saturday as Camden Fairview made off with  an  8-2 win. Considering the Cardinals have won four matches by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 The team  relied heavily on  Brodie Dow, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. Those  two  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Thomas Walker was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
Camden Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Des Arc, their loss was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-5.
 Camden Fairview will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Arkadelphia at 5:00  p.m.  on April 1. Camden Fairview will need to watch out since Arkadelphia has now posted at least ten  runs  in their last five games. Des Arc has  already played their next  contest (against Woodlawn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
