After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willcox, Tombstone was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the San Miguel Vipers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

One reason for the win was Tombstone's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-3.

Leading Tombstone to victory were Jordyn Gilbert and Isabella Lopez. Gilbert had six digs and two aces, while Lopez had 16 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Gilbert has posted since back in September.

Tombstone now has a winning record of 9-8. As for San Miguel, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Tombstone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Santa Rita on the 20th. As for San Miguel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Morenci on the 20th.
