Volleyball Recap: Family Homeschool Alliance Takes a Loss

After flying high against Arlington Christian on Monday, Family Homeschool Alliance came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since August 28th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-14.

Hannah Pate paced Family Homeschool Alliance's offense, picking up two kills. Pate got some help from Katie Schlief and her two assists.

Family Homeschool Alliance's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Family Homeschool Alliance will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Harvester Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Oak Mountain Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
