Sofia Vega won't forget Thursday's contest any time soon: she posted double-digit boards for the first time in her career. She scored four points and ten rebounds, helping propel Foothill Tech past Lucerne Valley by a score of 50-24. That new career-high tops her previous best of nine boards (the last time she pulled down that many was on January 30th.

Coming up, Vega and Foothill Tech will head out on the road to square off against Fillmore at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will pit Vega up against the Flashes' star forward Andrea Ramirez.
