Thompson has gone a perfect 6-0 against Calera recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Calera took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Thompson, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Thompson was able to grind out a solid win over Westminster School at Oak Mountain, taking the game 3-1. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Thompson's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Westminster School at Oak Mountain are ranked 95th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Calera was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to Helena.

Thompson is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 67 goals over those 13 matchups. As for Calera, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5-1.

Thompson took their win against Calera in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
