Baseball Recap: Cypress Lake Comes Up Short

Cypress Lake fell victim to Island Coast and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Gators. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Cypress Lake got a good showing from Eduardo Rosales, who pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Rosales has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Cypress Lake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luigi Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Cypress Lake's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Island Coast, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

As of now, neither Cypress Lake nor the Gators have any future games scheduled.
