Lakeside Lutheran won the last time they faced Edgewood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 66-44 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

Lakeside Lutheran's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Wolfram, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brecken Jimenez, who shot 45% from the field en route to 15 points and five steals.

Lakeside Lutheran has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 74.5 points this season. As for Edgewood, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lakeside Lutheran will venture away from home to face off against Lake Country Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Lightning have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Edgewood, they will head out to challenge Stoughton at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
