Basketball Recap: Jeffers Comes Up Short

Jeffers lost against Houghton back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jeffers Jets were outmatched by the Houghton Gremlins and fell 67-36. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jeffers' record now sits at 6-14. As for Houghton, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Jeffers will face off against Ewen-Trout Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ewen-Trout Creek has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 174 points over their last three matches. As for Houghton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Iron Mountain at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
