Alta barely beat Olympus the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks blew past the Titans 11-3 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Simeon Bacciocco was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on McCoy Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Crew Scheel was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Alta kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive contests.

Alta's record is now 11-8. As for Olympus, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alta will welcome Bountiful at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olympus, they will be playing at home against Brighton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bengals have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
