Football Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hillcrest was the 45-22 winner over Escambia County when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars lost 28-7 to the Blue Devils on Friday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Escambia County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but KJ Taylor led the charge by picking up 125 receiving yards and one TD. Those 125 receiving yards gave Taylor a new career-high. Yadarius Mcneal got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Escambia County, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-7.

As of now, neither Hillcrest nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
