Ovilla Christian entered their tilt with Alcuin on Tuesday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hawks. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-9.

Brenlin Garlitz paced Ovilla Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Garlitz got some help from Sarah Fanning and her 19 assists. Gracie Scott controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Ovilla Christian's win bumped their record up to 20-3-1. As for Alcuin, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ovilla Christian will face off against rival First Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Alcuin is set to challenge their familiar foe Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
