Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln County Patriots vs. Wayne County Cardinals

The Lincoln County Patriots will take on the Wayne County Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln County has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while Wayne County will come in with five straight victories.

Meanwhile, Wayne County never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Clinton County with a sharp 12-0 win. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Wayne County's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Lincoln County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-18.

Lincoln County suffered a grim 14-2 defeat to Wayne County in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
