Baseball Recap: Hurricane Takes a Loss

Hurricane lost against Crimson Cliffs last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-1. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Hurricane saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lani Matsuoka, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Hurricane's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Crimson Cliffs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Hurricane will take on Snow Canyon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will challenge Desert Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Thunder have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
