Basketball Recap: Vigor Comes Up Short

Vigor lost against Davidson back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vigor Wolves fell 41-31 to the Davidson Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Warriors are ranked 45th).

Vigor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Davidson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vigor will head out to face off against Citronelle at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Vigor is facing Citronelle at the right time seeing as Citronelle is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Davidson, they will head out on the road to take on Theodore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
