Warsaw barely beat Manchester the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Squires with a sharp 10-4 win on Saturday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.
Brandt Martin tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Kellan Bailey was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinton Brock, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
