Yucaipa kept up with Cajon until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Cowboys claimed a resounding 34-7 victory over the Thunderbirds. That looming 34-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cowboys yet this season.

Cajon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maleek Nolley out in front who rushed for 59 yards and two TDs. EJ Carstafhnur was another key player, rushing for 85 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

The victory got Cajon back to even at 3-3. As for Yucaipa, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
