Preview: Lincoln vs. Wilmer-Hutchins
Lincoln is 0-10 against Wilmer-Hutchins in play since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilmer-Hutchins at 7:30 p.m. Lincoln will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Lincoln faced off against A Plus Academy for the first time this season, and Lincoln walked away the winners. They skirted past A Plus Academy 2-1.
Lincoln was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Wilfred Giron and
Ntiharirizwa Paphil, who scored.
Meanwhile, Wilmer-Hutchins and North Dallas ended up with a point apiece after a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.
Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. Wilmer-Hutchins also didn't change their record much, as their draw makes their record 3-2-1.
Lincoln came up short against Wilmer-Hutchins in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 3-1. Can Lincoln avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
