Westmoore triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Gavin Loper

Recap: Westmoore Jaguars vs. Eisenhower Eagles

The Westmoore Jaguars can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They blew past Eisenhower 78-52. Given Westmoore's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Eisenhower is ranked 332nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gavin Loper was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with six rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Loper, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Westmoore is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Eisenhower, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westmoore on the road again on Thursday and play against Putnam City at 5:30 p.m. on January 18th. Putnam City is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Eisenhower, they will head out on the road to square off against Douglass on Thursday. Douglass will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
