Basketball Recap: Pope John Paul II Comes Up Short

Pope John Paul II was the 43-39 winner over Muckleshoot Tribal when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pope John Paul II Eagles had to suffer through a 52-15 loss at the hands of the Muckleshoot Tribal Kings.

Pope John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pope John Paul II will venture away from home to square off against Crosspoint at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, they will head out on the road to challenge Concordia Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
