Soccer Game Preview: Hershey vs. Lower Dauphin

The Hershey Trojans will head out to challenge the Lower Dauphin Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hershey managed to slip by Middletown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Blue Raiders on Friday. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Hershey struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, Lower Dauphin waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Shamrocks. Given Lower Dauphin's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Trinity are ranked 152nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lower Dauphin's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Hershey, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Hershey suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Lower Dauphin in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
