Soccer Game Preview: Shepherd vs. Fairview

The Shepherd Bluejays will square off against the Fairview Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Shepherd has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 15.

Monday just wasn't the day for Shepherd's offense. They lost 8-0 to Standish-Sterling on Monday. While losing is never fun, Shepherd can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 451st, while Standish-Sterling are ranked 174th).

Meanwhile, Fairview also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Alcona on Friday, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for Fairview in their meetings with Alcona: they've now lost five in a row.

Shepherd's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Fairview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
