Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Forsyth). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Flowery Branch Falcons 70-17. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Falcons are ranked 430th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Forsyth's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-15. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Flowery Branch, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Forsyth will welcome North Oconee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Oconee will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something East Forsyth surely won't give up without a fight. As for Flowery Branch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
