Basketball Recap: Phoenix Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Phoenix took on Howardsville Christian on Friday. The Phoenix Falcons came up short against the Howardsville Christian Eagles, falling 47-24.

Phoenix has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. Howardsville Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-14.

Phoenix does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Howardsville Christian, they will head out to square off against Eau Claire at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
