Football Recap: Mountain Valley Comes Up Short

Mountain Valley lost against Sierra Grande back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves were beaten by the Panthers 85-6.

Mountain Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sierra Grande, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Mountain Valley will challenge Bethune at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolves will be up against the Bobcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Sierra Grande, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 45-7 win against Primero on the 3rd.
