Math & Science College Preparatory won the last time they faced New West Charter and things went their way on Friday too. The Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks blew past the New West Charter Eagles 67-45. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Bryan Ruiz, who posted 39 points. Those 39 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sidney Scott, who had ten points.

Liam Hakimi and Lior Einhorn certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hakimi earned 18 points and seven rebounds, while Einhorn went 5-for-9 on his way to 14 points and six boards. Hakimi has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played. Nathan Castellanos was another key player, putting up five points.

Math & Science College Preparatory pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.6 points over those games. As for New West Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
