Hall added to the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut I West this week by beating Hartford Public, 18-13. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Southington took down South Windsor 45-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Stephen Barmore threw for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 12 yards during the win.
He went 10-12 with 0 interceptions.
Jordon Bell was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 101 yards on 15 carries as Hall bested the Owls. Javone Bellamy also contributed to the rushing game with 45 yards on the ground.
The Blue Knights' Barmore and Alex Jamele have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Barmore has thrown for 2,192 yards this season, while Jamele has 56 catches for 1,213 yards. Simsbury's Brad Helmkamp leads the league in rushing yards with 968.
Going into this week's game against Conard, Frank H. Robinson Iii's team's Tom Honyotski needs 72 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season. Accruing a total of 18 touchdowns this year, Honyotski has thrown for 1,928 yards with 6 interceptions.
The Trojans' Helmkamp needs only 32 yards against Glastonbury next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Helmkamp has rushed for 968 yards on 148 carries so far this year.
The Chieftains are currently in third, while the Warriors are in second.
Hall and Hartford Public played the most contested game in Central Connecticut I West this week, with Hall eventually emerging with a 18-13 victory. Parra caught 7 passes for 162 yards in the win.
