Kenny Jager Delivers Electric Effort Vs Christ the King

Starting off the list is Chicago Christian's Kenny Jager, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jager rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Chicago Christian, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Jager and Chicago Christian will head out on the road to challenge Aurora Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Christian Flutman's big game helped extend Chicago Christian's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Flutman as he threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 34 yards.

Christ the King had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Flutman it was a similar story. When Flutman last faced the Gladiators back in October of 2023, he rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns.

London Leflore and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

London Leflore was instrumental in extending Wheaton Academy's winning streak to seven on Friday. Aurora Christian had no answer to Leflore as he rushed for 25 yards and two touchdowns.

Wheaton Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Leflore and Wheaton Academy are taking a road trip to square off against Marian Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

St. Edward was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Luis Vargas did his best to prevent it. Vargas was unstoppable, making five total tackles.

Wheaton Academy picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brandon Kiebles. Kiebles did his part (and then some), making two total tackles for the 'W'.
