Recap: Trinity Christian Warriors vs. Our Lady of the Sun Academy
The Trinity Christian Warriors had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 60-29 victory over Our Lady of the Sun Academy on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Trinity Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Our Lady of the Sun Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joseph Reiss, who scored 14 points along with 5 assists. Brady Webster was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 8 rebounds.
Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Our Lady of the Sun Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will square off against BASIS - Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Our Lady of the Sun Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Thunderbird Adventist Academy at 6:45 p.m. on December 7th.
