After a string of three wins, Thurston's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against Romulus, falling 13-6. Thurston was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Romulus earlier this season, when they won 15-12.

Thurston's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Romulus, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Thurston is set to take on their familiar foe Melvindale at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Romulus will challenge rival Annapolis at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
