Herbert Hoover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Charleston Catholic Irish, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Herbert Hoover of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Jasper Lynn, which was the first he's scored this season.

Herbert Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Charleston Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6-4.

Herbert Hoover didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Princeton on the 4th. As for Charleston Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Trinity Christian on the 3rd.
