Bosque is 0-5 against Hope Christian since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bosque Bobcats will head out on the road to challenge the Hope Christian Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Bosque focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
Bosque can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cuba 65-37 at home. Bosque pushed the score to 57-20 by the end of the third, a deficit Cuba cut but never quite recovered from.
Bosque can attribute much of their success to Kyle Morris, who scored 19 points, and Cooper Hautau, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Morris continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Josiah Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Hope Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 62-54 to Valley.
Bosque's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Hope Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.
